Our story

Built on a simple idea: shared scale, individual attention.

Airmax was founded to bring multiple aircraft owners together under one management platform — pooling purchasing power, vendor relationships and institutional knowledge that no single owner could access alone. What started as a way to make aircraft ownership more efficient has grown into a full-service management company with the depth, systems and expertise to handle any mission, on any private aircraft.

We still believe the math works better together. Every owner in our program benefits from the buying power, vendor relationships and hard-won experience of the whole fleet — without losing the individual attention their aircraft and their program deserve.

We stay deliberately hands-on. Owners talk to decision-makers. The people accountable for your program are on staff, not subcontractors passing through. And safety is a standing agenda item, not a chapter in a manual nobody opens.

Michael Werner

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Michael Werner is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Airmax, bringing 20 years of finance and business operations experience from roles at Partners Group and Mantucket Capital. He holds a CFA designation and a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Michael oversees day-to-day management across Airmax's managed fleet, from maintenance and crew staffing to owner reporting, and is responsible for making sure every program runs to the standard Airmax was built on.

Ron Graves

Director of Maintenance

Ron Graves is Director of Maintenance at Airmax, bringing 47 years of experience in aviation maintenance, including maintenance management, repair station operations, aircraft completions, and major alterations. After graduating from Colorado Aerotech, he worked his way from repair station technician to corporate flight department roles, later serving as Director of Maintenance for several large corporations and as a Repair Station Director. Ron's experience spans a wide range of airframes, including Gulfstream, Falcon, and Bombardier aircraft, giving him a well-rounded approach to safe, cost-effective maintenance. His attention to detail ensures every aircraft in Airmax's care is properly inspected and maintained to the highest standard.

Jeff Krueger

Director of Operations

Jeff Krueger is Director of Flight Operations at Airmax, bringing 45 years of aviation experience spanning military, corporate, and commercial flying. He began his career as a Naval Aircrewman before advancing through the FBO and charter industry to Chief Pilot on Gulfstream business jets, and later flew as a First Officer for United Airlines. Jeff joined Airmax in 2002 and was named Director of Flight Operations in 2004, leading the company's growth from a two-aircraft Part 91 operation into a large-cabin fleet management firm. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating and continues to fly as Captain on the Gulfstream G800.

Tony DiTirro

Chief Pilot

Tony DiTirro is Chief Pilot at Airmax, bringing 28 years of experience in commercial and corporate aviation, much of it flying internationally across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia. He began his career with ExpressJet Airlines before transitioning to corporate aviation overseas, later serving as a Senior Instructor and Demonstration Pilot for an aircraft manufacturer on the Legacy 650, Legacy 500, and Phenom 300. Tony joined Airmax in 2019 as a Falcon 900 pilot and advanced to Chief Pilot, where he oversees the company's pilots and supports flight operations. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating and continues to fly as Captain on the Falcon 900 and Gulfstream 650.
